Online Archive

For over 100 years, The Nation magazine has been published weekly.  To make this wealth of material available online to researchers, The Nation turned to Kanda Software.

Every page is archived intact—including the original advertisements, which are often of historical interest to researchers who use the archive.  Kanda created the entire online system, including a user interface that lets both novice and experienced researchers extract exactly what they need from the archive.

The online archive is a significant new revenue source for The Nation.  To support sales into different markets with a variety of pricing models, Kanda created a variety of access control conditions suitable for each market. 

Many of the features of the archive and its access control are available from Kanda as packaged solutions.
