Toucan Valley Publishing is a very small company that sells educational materials for use by fourth graders. Originally available as paper fact cards, the materials are now offered by subscription in an online format.

Toucan president and sole employee Bennett Jacobstein was also looking for a management front-end that he could use himself to manage orders, add new users, arrange the process for a free trial, and track usage by page viewed. The management system Kanda built for this purpose is "incredibly easy to use," says Jacobstein.

The buyers are public libraries and school libraries, so it was important to Jacobstein to have a system that wouldn't require library patrons to enter a password. To meet this need, Kanda created a system that uses IP address recognition in a secure system.
