Access Control

Toucan Valley Publishing provides tools for the beginning researcher: information for fourth graders about topics such as California history.  Previously available only on paper, Toucan’s materials are now available to libraries and school libraries in the form of an online subscription database.

For the Toucan solution, Kanda created - very inexpensively - a system that features IP address recognition so that library patrons don’t have to enter a password to use the system. Kanda created an easy-to-use management front end that allows Toucan’s president and sole employee to enable access for new accounts, to add or change users, to enable free trials, and to track usage.

Kanda’s Access Control system is available as a packaged solution.
